ARE YOU INTERESTED IN MEDICAL RESEARCH OR EDUCATION AT BOURNEMOUTH UNIVERSITY?

The Centre of Postgraduate Medical Research and Education (C^oPMRE) was opened by the Vice Chancellor in June 2007 uniting local clinicians with the University. It has been identified as a priority area for investment in the 2007 to 2012 University Strategic Plan. We have four University academics, one full time medical statistician and about 20 local clinicians involved in research or education initiatives with the University, nine of whom were named in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) and two of whom are funded 0.2 FTEs by the University. There is dedicated space and administrative support.

We are seeking local NHS doctors who are interested in actively participating with C^oPMRE research and education initiatives but who may not yet be involved or know how to get started. Please email me if you would like further information. I would be grateful for a brief account of your interests and aspirations.
